In just over a month on Veteran’s Day we will have our second annual War Games Day here at the History Center. The Blank Brothers (Aaron & Andrew) and Mike Westerbur will set up the war simulation game and let anyone who likes join in. The Battle of Brecourt will be re-played. This battle occured on D-Day, June 6, 1944, between the US 101st Airborne and the German Artillery Battery located at Brecourt Manor. This battle was featured in the HBO series Band of Brothers 2nd episode–“Day of Days.”
