Nutcrackers are associated with Christmas and we have almost 6000 nutcrackers! They originate from late-17th century Germany and are symbols of good luck, frightening away malevolent spirits.

Stop by the History Center from 10 AM to 4 PM during Winterfest, December 1-2, 2023. Color some Christmas pictures, take part in Christmas crafts, do a scavenger hunt, or take a tour of the museum. We will also have hot chocolate and cookies.
